Due to the general expansion of the Hospital da Luz Lisboa and the subsequent restructuring of the pediatrics area, namely in the Emergency Department, Day Hospital and differentiated inpatient units, Hospital da Luz Lisboa informs that it will temporarily limit the access of clients to the Pediatrics Urgent Care. This service will work conditionally between July 1 and September 15, period during which access is limited exclusively to clients of Hospital da Luz network. As of September 16, the pediatrics urgent care will resume its normal operation – 24 hours a day, every day of the year - with greater responsiveness in a renewed space, specially designed for the children and adolescents of the 21st century, and strengthened by an even more comprehensive and specialized care offer, distinctive in the scene of the private sector in Portugal. During the period of conditioned access, the pediatrics urgent care is available every day between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. It is necessary a previous telephone contact – to the number 217 104 411, a line specially created for this purpose – to schedule the time of the appointment. With the confirmation made through this telephone contact, clients can then go to the hospital and have the appointment at the pediatrics urgent care of Hospital da Luz Lisboa. During the next few weeks, Hospital da Luz will try to contact all its clients directly and individually, in order to inform them of this short-term change of our services. In this contact, it will be provided the number of the pediatrics urgent care line and explained the necessary procedure to be followed.
