The Hospital da Luz - Centro Clínico da Amadora will be providing the medical back up for runners in the 1 st Aqueduct Run, an event taking place on 28 September at 10.00 in Amadora. This 15 km run is for federated and non-federated athletes of both sexes. The route is urban through the main streets of Amadora. In addition to the main event, the program also has a 5 km mini-run called 'Aqueduct with the Family', which commemorates the Recreios da Amadora centenary. Participants can run alone, in a group, or walk or race, the important thing is to take part. Other activities in the weeks leading up to the run include games, competitions and zumba lessons and are all part of commemorations of the 35 th anniversary of Amadora City Hall.
