After childbirth, breastfeeding can be one of the most challenging moments for the mother, raising many doubts. Hospital da Luz Arrábida will hold, next May 10 (between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.), a free workshop on breastfeeding, destined to pregnant women, young mothers, and couples. This initiative will be oriented by Sara Gomes, nurse specialist in maternal health and obstetrics. The workshop is free of charge, but requires previous registration, which can be made directly at the reception desk of the Gynaecology-Obstetrics Service or by e-mail addressed to marketing.arrabida@hospitaldaluz.pt. Breastfeeding, its benefits and how to overcome potential obstacles are the themes of the workshop, in the course of which participants will have the opportunity to pose questions and meet the maternity unit team of Hospital da Luz Arrábida.
