Hospital da Luz Setúbal participated in the International Day of St Peter’s International School in Palmela, on May 30, organizing activities for students on nutrition and healthy life habits . In a playful way, children were challenged to apply their knowledge on healthy eating, under the watchful eye of our mascot Lu, who cheered up children and youths alike. Activities were specially designed for primary and middle school students, but even older students showed interest in participating. It was required, for instance, to discern between healthy and unhealthy foods and sort them accordingly. The Hospital da Luz team comprised nurses Joana Silva and Teresa Teixeira. The International Day is already a traditional event at St Peter’s, being organized every year in close collaboration with families. The goal is to promote conviviality among the whole school community in a casual, fun, and targeted way. Hospital da Luz Setúbal thanks St Peter’s International School for the invitation to participate in the event and for all the collaboration provided. The promotion of health near younger generations is fundamental towards building a healthier future. Whenever the community so requires, Hospital da Luz is present!
