Hospital da Luz Clínica de Amarante and Cercimarante – Cooperative for the Education and Rehabilitation of Citizens with Disabilities, C.R.L. , celebrated a protocol establishing special conditions for the collaborators and associates of the institution. Cercimarante is a social solidarity cooperative that supports people with disability and/or impairment, with the goal of promoting the inclusion of these individuals in all their diversity and plurality, resorting to practices oriented towards a sustainable development. The protocol was signed on October 26 by Pedro Linhares, director-general of Hospital da Luz Clínica de Amarante (on the right, in the photo above), and Carlos Manuel Azevedo Pereira, president of the management board of the cooperative (on the left, in the photo). This initiative is part of the strategy of support to the population in the access to healthcare, that is being developed by Hospital da Luz. The protocol foresees discounts on list prices for all services , namely: Emergency Assistance; Planned Consultations in medical or surgical specialities; Dentistry Treatments; Complementary diagnostic exams. To benefit from the agreed conditions*, it is mandatory for members and collaborators of Cercimarante to present an identity document attesting that condition, and their name must be registered in the database previously provided by the cooperative to Hospital da Luz. Alternatively, they can also present a declaration issued by the administrative services of the cooperative (Rua de Guimarães, 869, 4600-112 S. Gonçalo – Amarante). *The discounts agreed are not cumulative to other reductions the beneficiaries may already have through health insurances or other agreements, conventions and protocols.
