Hospital da Luz Oeiras invites the population, next weekend, the 11th and 12th May, to participate in free screenings on health indicators of cardiovascular diseases. These screenings will be ensured by the nursing team from Hospital da Luz Oeiras and will involve blood pressure, cholesterol, glycemia, abdominal perimeter and body mass index measurements. The team will be installed at Passeio Marítimo de Oeiras. Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of death among Portuguese, but in 80% of cases the situation is stabilized. Therefore, prevention and the adoption of healthy life habits are fundamental. Participate in the screening!
