Hospital da Luz Oiã assumed the main sponsorship of Moita Rugby Clube da Bairrada’s senior team , for the season 2021/2022. Hospital da Luz Oiã will thus be the official entity providing medical services to athletes of this Anadia’s club, that counts already with 46 years of existence and is a reference in the history of national rugby. The protocol of collaboration between the two institutions was signed by Pedro Beja Afonso, administrator of Hospital da Luz Oiã, and Manuel Neves, president of the Moita Rugby Club. “In the development and recovery of athletes, we need to count with differentiated and high quality care, conditions that are ensured by this institution and all its professionals”, states Manuel Neves, explaining the importance of the Hospital da Luz Oiã support. This is also a way “to continue fostering rugby in the central region”, he added. “Hospital da Luz Oiã views to make available specialized sports medicine for senior and also initiation teams. Besides establishing a partnership of trust with Moita Rugby Club, we also wish to promote the practice of sport and healthy lifestyles for the general population”, stated, on its turn, Pedro Beja Afonso.
