Hospital da Luz Guimarães celebrated a protocol with Caldas das Taipas Volunteer Firefighters establishing special conditions for the corporate bodies’ members, brigade elements and their direct family, and corporation associates. The protocol was signed on February 27 by Luís Miguel Soares and Miguel Ribeiro de Sousa, president and member of the Humanitarian Association of the Caldas das Taipas Volunteer Firefighters, and Ana Abreu, general director of Hospital da Luz Guimarães. The celebration of this agreement is part of the strategy of support to the population in access to healthcare, that Hospital da Luz has been developing and under which similar agreements have already been established with other fire departments in the region. This protocol provides discounts* on official costs for all services, namely: Urgent Assistance consultations; Planned consultations in medical or surgical specialties; Dental medicine treatments; Complementary diagnostic exams; Surgeries; Inpatient services. The beneficiaries can get information on special conditions near the administrative services of Caldas das Taipas Volunteer Firefighters or through Hospital da Luz Guimarães. *The discounts agreed are not cumulative with others that the beneficiaries may have through health insurance or other agreements, conventions, and protocols.
