Hospital da Luz Guimarães celebrated a protocol with Fafe Volunteer Firefighters establishing special conditions for the corporate bodies’ members, brigade elements and their direct family, and corporation associates. The agreement was signed on January 27 by Luísa Damasceno, chair of the board of Fafe Firefighters Humanitarian Association, and Ana Abreu, general director of Hospital da Luz Guimarães (both in the photo above). The celebration of this agreement is part of the strategy of support to the population in access to healthcare, that Hospital da Luz has been developing, having already established similar protocols with the volunteer firefighters of Guimarães and Vizela. The protocol with Fafe Volunteer Firefighters provides discounts* on official costs for all services, namely: Urgent Assistance consultations; Planned consultations in medical or surgical specialities; Dental medicine treatments; Complementary diagnostic exams; Surgeries; Inpatient services. The beneficiaries can get information on special conditions near the administrative services of Fafe Volunteer Firefighters or through Hospital da Luz Guimarães. *The discounts agreed are not cumulative with others that the beneficiaries may have through health insurance or other agreements, conventions, and protocols.
