Hospital da Luz Guimarães was the official partner in Campobello Guimarães Ladies Open 2026 , ITF W50 tennis international tournament counting for the world ranking, which took place between 8 and 10 June at Guimarães Tennis Club. Hospital da Luz teams ensured the necessary medical and nursing services. The winner of the tournament was the North American Savannah Broadus in a fierce final against the Belorussian Aliona Falei, with a score line of 1-6, 6-3, and 6-4. Savannah Broadus thus conquered the most important title of her career (two years after winning an ITF W15 in the United States) and was the major figure of the tournament, also winning in doubles alongside her fellow native, Abigail Rencheli. The public filled once more the stands of Guimarães Tennis Club to support the competing tennis players in a unique atmosphere. The performance of the two finalists gave even more glare to this international tournament that has counted with the presence of some the best players of the moment. In the end, Ana Abreu and Sérgio Viana, the general director and manager of Hospital da Luz Guimarães respectively, Rui Pontes, Campobello CEO, and Isabel Ferreira, member of Guimarães city council, have delivered the awards alongside the club’s direction presided by José Fernandes. Hospital da Luz congratulates all the participants in the tournament and thanks the Guimarães Tennis Club’s invitation to participate once again in this major sports event in the region. We make a point of supporting sport because the practice of physical exercise is fundamental to lead a healthier life.
