The Medieval Journey in Terra de Santa Maria 2022 opened its doors on August 3 and, this year, it is sponsored by Hospital da Luz Clínica de Santa Maria da Feira . Two years after its last edition, interrupted because of the pandemic, the most important public initiative carried out in the region hopes to receive more than half a million national and foreign visitors, in a celebration of our history, mixed with lots of fun. Bringing together the most important local partners, this organization of the Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, which in its last edition received more than 700 thousand visitors during the two weeks of the event, could not fail to count on the presence of the most recent clinic of the Luz Saúde Group, which opened its doors in March of this year to accompany and take care of the health of all the inhabitants of the region. Hospital da Luz Clínica Santa Maria da Feira is an outpatient unit, with the hallmark of excellence and quality of Hospital da Luz, which operates in a network with one of the Group's major hospitals – Hospital da Luz Arrábida, in Gaia – and which has consultations and exams of all specialties are available. At the opening ceremony of the event, which runs until the 14 th , the heads of Hospital da Luz Arrábida and HL Clínica Santa Maria da Feira, Manuel Krug Noronha and Glória Almeida , were special guests, thus marking the consolidation of the presence of Hospital da Light in the local community. The Medieval Journey in Terra de Santa Maria is a passport to a unique journey through the experiences of the Middle Ages , providing different but equally intense experiences and allowing the public to feel an integral part of this period of Portuguese History, the First Dynasty. With historical recreations, shows, taverns and markets, the most famous medieval fair in the country occupies 33 hectares of the historic center of the city of Santa Maria da Feira, recreating the times of the First Dynasty. There are 12 days dedicated to the 9 reigns of the period between 1143 and 1383. More information about the event at www.viagemmedieval.com
