This week, Hospital da Luz Lisboa welcomed young doctors who will begin their specialty internship this year. In a ceremony attended by the CEO of the Luz Saúde group, Isabel Vaz, the clinical director, Rui Maio, and the director of the hospital's Medical Internship Committee, Anabela Raimundo, t he 13 new interns at Hospital da Luz Lisboa came together to the 32 colleagues who are already doing their postgraduate training at HLL , and got to know the hospital and the services better where they will begin a new stage of their life as doctors. The vacancies for medical specialty internship at Hospital da Luz Lisboa were all filled this year, with the new interns spread across the services of Internal Medicine, Oncology, Pulmonology, Nuclear Medicine, Pathological Anatomy, Radiology, Immunoallergology, General Surgery, Intensive Medicine, Pediatrics and Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. On the occasion, the history of the medical internship at Hospital da Luz Lisboa and throughout the Luz Saúde group was recalled, a program that began 10 years ago and has already trained 22 new specialists. Isabel Vaz, the CEO of Luz Saúde, also addressed the new interns to tell them about Hospital da Luz and the quality of the doctors, teams, and services with which these young doctors will undertake their postgraduate training. In this year's competition ranking, Hospital da Luz Lisboa was the first choice in Lisbon for the internship in Internal Medicine, Intensive Medicine, Immunoallergology, Pathological Anatomy and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
