As planned, a new ADSE price list will come into force on 1 September 2021, also applicable to other public health subsystems, namely, IASFA, SAD-PSP and SAD-GNR . The Hospital da Luz network, as the main service provider of these subsystems, will maintain the conventions in general and will continue to serve its beneficiaries. However, in the case of some services/clinical acts, and according to the assessment carried out by our hospitals, namely by the doctors and nurses involved, this new table decided by ADSE does not adequately value the costs inherent to the clinical standards with which we work - and from which we do not abdicate – neither the work of health professionals nor the level of differentiation of our hospitals and clinics. This fact left Grupo Luz Saúde no alternative other than to exclude from the scope of the convention these services/clinical acts in the units of the Hospital da Luz network. In other cases, the Luz Saúde group reorganized its care offer to ensure that the response to beneficiaries is maintained , at least in part of the Hospital da Luz network of units, allowing it to continue to ensure adequate coverage and access. To reduce the financial impact of the new table, clients of the Hospital da Luz network units that are beneficiaries of ADSE, IASFA, SAD-PSP and SAD-GNR will have access to a special price table for non-clinical services/acts agreements , in line with the prices that are currently practiced with insurance companies, also including others that ADSE does not reimburse, such as, for example, the Nursing Consultation. As an example, in a consultation with a specialist doctor who does not have an agreement with these subsystems and adheres to this special table, the price will be between €35 and €40, and the beneficiary may then claim reimbursement. The emergency services of the Hospital da Luz network will continue to guarantee the service provided for in the convention.
