About 200 athletes participated in the 4th Corrida do Vitória, a running event integrated in the celebrations of the 108th anniversary of Vitória Futebol Clube, which took place last December 1st, in Setúbal. Hospital da Luz Setúbal, Vitória FC’s official medical service provider, joined once again this celebration of sports, ensuring clinical assistance to the event. The 10 km-long running, which started at Estádio do Bonfim and went along the streets of the city, counted with the participation of around 30 collaborators from Grupo Luz Saúde. Besides the main race, the program also included a 5 km-long walk event with no competitive goal, where numerous families participated, enjoying the sunny afternoon and cheering the historical centre of the city. The running race was won by Jorge Robalo, senior athlete from Vitória Futebol Clube, who crossed the finish line at 32’58’’. On the other hand, Margarida Dionísio, an athlete from Associação Cultural e Recreativa Sra. do Desterro, won in the senior female category, with the time of 39’54’’. Nuno Gato, marketing and communication assistant director from Luz Saúde, on the 38th position in the general classification, was the best among Hospital da Luz collaborators, crossing the finish line at 44’26’’. In this year’s edition, Luz Saúde collaborators participating in the running and in the walk wore a shirt alluding to the 6th anniversary of Fosun Foundation, Fosun corporate social responsibility institution, reference shareholder of Grupo Luz Saúde. Hospital da Luz Setúbal installed a medical centre near Estádio do Bonfim, with a team including one doctor, three nurses and a physiotherapist. Three ambulances were ready to intervene, accompanying the athletes all the way long. Watch the film here:
