The Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim ensured clinical assistance to the Corrida dos Reis , which took place on January 4, marking the end of the Christmas festivities in the city. The 8 km run had about 1,500 participants from various parts of the country, who had the opportunity to range over several tourist attractions and neighborhoods of the city. Rui Silva , in the men’s competition, and Daniela Cunha , in the women’s competition, were the winners of this 3 rd edition of the Corrida dos Reis . Throughout the course, the athletes had the medical support of Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim. Next to the finish line, the hospital also placed a team of doctors, nurses and physiotherapists, prepared to provide the necessary care to all participants. Hospital da Luz thanks the municipality of Póvoa de Varzim and the organization – Bikeservice – for the invitation to join this initiative , which was a real success!
