Hospital da Luz Clínica de Cerveira will offer, next June 26, evaluations of invisible orthodontics, to assess the possibility of application of the Invisalign system. This initiative is open access and is aimed at adults and children (over 7 years old), who will have to book in advance, and the evaluations will be carried out by dentist Mariana Guimarães , specialist in orthodontics and certified in invisible orthodontics. The Invisalign system consists in removable and practically invisible aligners, customized to each individual. They allow to shift the teeth gradually and smoothly, but with precision and efficacy, until the desired result is achieved. Invisible aligners are recommended in case of: Space between teeth; Misaligned teeth; Occlusion problems; Dysfunction of the jaw joint. During this evaluation, an intraoral scanner will be performed that allows simulating in 3D what the person's smile will look like after using the invisible aligners.
