The project “Development of a tool of ePROMs as the main concept of outcome measure in value based healthcare in Luz Saúde” of Hospital da Luz was selected among 121 candidacies from 34 countries, to receive the “Award of Excellence in Management and Healthcare Providing” by the International Hospital Federation (IHF) . The work presented is part of the value-based medicine project being developed by the Luz Saúde Group, called the 'Hercules Project' , in this case by measuring the results reported by patients (PROMs), called the Hercules Project. It consists in the creation of a web platform, allowing a measuring exclusive interaction of PROMs by pathology, between the patient and the doctor and/or nurse following the case. Filipe Costa , Hospital da Luz Lisboa manager and member of the ‘Hercules Project’, will be in Oman in the IHF Congress, to receive the award . Established in 2015, the International Hospital Federation awards “view to distinguish hospitals and other healthcare providing organizations for innovation, excellence, exceptional projects and best practices in areas that deserve international recognition”. “It is with great satisfaction that I confirm the high quality of the selected candidates.
