Luz Saúde's Legal and Compliance Department, led by attorney João Rebelo, has just been recognized as one of the most important in-house legal services teams in Portugal , being included in the Portugal Teams 2025 ranking of the Legal 500, which lists the best legal professionals. This is one of the world's most renowned directories of lawyers and law firms. For nearly 40 years, it has dedicated itself exclusively to evaluating their performance and publishing reports, producing rankings covering more than 100 jurisdictions and serving as a benchmark in the sector. According to the award organizers, at a ceremony held on May 8th in Lisbon, "the GC Powerlist Teams highlights the best in-house legal teams across the country, with Luz Saúde's team being included this year in the list of the most important after a comprehensive research process conducted over many months." Luz Saúde's legal team, which had already been recognized in 2017 and 2019, is once again included in the GC Powerlist Portugal in 2025, which identifies the best legal professionals within Portuguese companies in terms of influence and capacity for innovation.
