How the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (MFR) service functions at Hospital Beatriz Ângelo and the challenges its professionals face make the cover of the new issue of the HBA magazine. The new magazine also highlights orthopedics of excellence in the areas of foot, ankle and shoulder injuries, as practiced at the HBA, showing the work of some of its specialists and their success stories. The relationship with the community that the Hospital serves is one of the important aspects of professional activity at HBA. In this magazine, we show more examples of this relationship, with reports about skin cancer screening, carried out by HBA doctors at the Santa Tecla care home in Loures, and the fight against childhood obesity, with the 'Be Healthy' project at António Gedeão school in Odivelas. Good practice to prevent hospital infections is everyone's responsibility. In this issue, we give advice on what to do before patients come to the hospital to be operated on.
