Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim celebrated, last July 8, a protocol with the North NCX’s bikers , establishing special conditions for the group’s members in health services provided in that unit and also in the units of Vila Real, Amarante and Vila Nova de Cerveira . This was another agreement promoted by Hospital da Luz in the context of the strategy of support to the population in access to healthcare . Already in January 2020, Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim organized a first-aid course for members of the North NCX’s group, that sold out. Considering the large participation and very positive reactions, the initiative will be repeated as soon as the Covid-19 pandemic conditions so permit. In the protocol now celebrated, the thousands of members of this bikers’ group will benefit from discounts* on the list prices of all services provided in the four Hospital da Luz network units above referred, namely: Emergency consultations 24 hours; Programmed consultations in medical or surgical specialties; Treatments in dental medicine; Complementary diagnostic exams; Surgeries and deliveries; Inpatient service. In order to benefit from the discounts, the North NCX’s members must show the respective identification card confirming their membership to the group, besides their personal identity card.
