The consultation is coordinated by gastroenterologist Isabel Garrido and offers a multidisciplinary monitoring, counting with the collaboration of gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, specialists in infectious diseases, dermatology, and gynaecology-obstetrics, besides a dedicated nursing team. The approach in multidisciplinary team allows a more precise diagnosis, access to innovative therapies – including biologic treatments in day hospital care – and a better monitoring of inpatients.
