Taking the challenge launched by Luz Saúde Direction of Marketing and Communication, collaborators from the whole Group, North to South and Madeira Island, mobilized and built original nativity scenes, which will be exhibited in their respective units. This initiative was also a contest, which was won by nurses Ana Novo and Sandra Ferreira, from Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim, who constructed an imitation of stained glass, designed and painted by hand, and completed with light wreaths. The winning nativity scene will be in exhibition at the maternity unit of Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim, floor 3. In total, 24 nativity scenes competed, individually made or in group by collaborators of hospitals, clinics, and departments of Luz Saúde. Styles and materials were at the discretion of the participants and every nativity scene was considered in terms of originality, creativity, aesthetics, adjustment to the holiday spirit, and the quality of execution.
