A team led by general surgeon Paulo Oliveira performed, on February 6, the first ambulatory surgery at Hospital da Luz Clínica de Odivelas . The patient operated for an inguinal hernia was discharged from hospital right after the adequate period of recovery. From now on, Hospital da Luz Clínica de Odivelas adds ambulatory surgery in several specialties to its range of services.
