Hospital Beatriz Ângelo (HBA) was the country’s third hospital in centre-south region that contributed the most, in 2014, with organs for transplantation. The work of the team responsible for the harvesting of organs at HBA, and their explanation of the precautions and procedures to be observed in the process, make the cover of next edition of magazine «Informação Luz Saúde Beatriz Ângelo», already available at the hospital site. This magazine, in its 15 th edition, also refers the support of imagiology to emergency service, explains the work of HBA anaesthesiologists and emphasizes the effort of the dynamizing team, which cooperates with the local coordination unit for the control of hospital infections. The plea of a physician concerning two cases of rare blood and news about HBA projects distinguished by the Ministry of Health are also highlighted in this publication. The magazine of Hospital Beatriz Ângelo has about 100 thousand printed copies and is free of charge, being distributed door to door in the four districts covered by the hospital.
