Paulo Rego , director of the Orthopaedics Service of Hospital da Luz Lisboa and Hospital Beatriz Ângelo (HBA), is one of the invited specialists to present his clinical and research experience in hip preservation surgery in adolescents and young adults, in Bern Hip Symposium , which will take place between 27 and 29 February 2020 in Bern, Switzerland. The Bern Hip Symposium is one of the most renowned world meetings in the area, where biannually, for the last 25 years, the most recent innovations in hip surgery are presented. It counts with the participation of experts from 40 different countries . This 2020 gathering, which will include once again the livestreaming of surgeries, will have for main topics “ hip joint preservation ”, the definition of clinical guidelines and hip total arthroplasty in adolescents and young adults .
