Hospital da Luz Lisboa inner garden receives, from 5 to 23 March, a new painting exhibition, this time with works by Nuno Confraria. Originally from Figueira da Foz, Nuno Confraria revealed quite soon a special inclination for drawing, but followed other paths, becoming a Master in Geography Engineering, by the Sciences and Technology Faculty of Universidade de Coimbra. The discovery of painting techniques occurred years later, being a self-taught artist. His first exhibition took place in 2015 – “Memórias” (Memoires) – and the most recent works are mainly focused on humanized environments, combining a figurative line and cubism. Besides several exhibitions already presented, Nuno Confraria has seen his value recognized, winning several awards, national and internationally.
