Clube Desportivo da Póvoa team (CDP) won last Sunday, by 76-46, a match of preparation for the season 2022/2023, in basketball, with Maia Basket Clube team, where the Hospital da Luz Trophy was in dispute. Many of the club supporters were present in the CDP sports pavilion, always in a festive and sportsmanship atmosphere. Enthusing the audience, from the beginning to the end of the game, was Lu, the Hospital da Luz mascot. Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim is the official medical service provider of the CDP basketball section, ensuring clinical and individualized follow-up to its athletes. The protocol also foresees advantages and facilities for the club members and personnel of the CDP basketball section , in the access to services at Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim. At the end of the game, the trophy was delivered to CDP by Pedro Linhares, the director of Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim.
