The Hospital Beatriz Ângelo (HBA) has just published another edition of the magazine IESS Beatriz Ângelo. The cover of issue # 11 is dedicated to this topic and inside is a detailed article on diabetes and the approach adopted by HBA health professionals. The hospital's multi-disciplinary teams, teaching developments in therapy education and the connection to primary health care are just some of the topics covered in this magazine, which is now being distributed. Also featured is an article on the work carried out by the team performing obesity surgery at the HBA and an explanation for the high demand for ophthalmology appointments. Also shown is how the hospital manages the growing number of patients referred by health centers.
