To meet the high demand and better respond to patient needs, the Hospital da Luz extended the times for specialist appointments and examinations last January. Since then it has been possible to make appointments for Saturday mornings for all the main specialties and, in some cases, also on Saturday afternoons. In an analysis carried out around ten months after the introduction of this system, we have seen the convenience it now provides. Many of our patients obviously prefer these new times and numbers have more than doubled over figures for 2013. Among the most sought after specialties in the new extended appointment times are: Cardiology Endocrinology Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Gastroenterology Gynecology-Obstetrics Dental Medicine General and Family Medicine Ophthalmology Ear, Nose and Throat Orthopedics Pediatrics On Saturdays it is also possible to carry out clinical analyses between 08.00 and 13.00. The Imaging Center is open every day of the year, from Monday to Sunday.
