Hospital da Luz Guimarães was the official partner of Dotmoovs Guimarães Ladies Open 2025, tennis women’s international tournament ITF-W50, scoring for the world ranking, which took place at Guimarães Tennis Club between 9 and 15 June. Francisca Jorge (on the right in the photo above) was two-time champion at home, winning her seventh individual title, after defeating her sister in the final, Matilde Jorge (on the left in the photo), in three sets (5-7, 6-2 and 6-2). Hundreds of people filled the stands at Guimarães Tennis Club to support the local tennis players, in a unique atmosphere. The performance of the two local players added shine to this international tournament, which counted with the presence of some of the top players of today. The practise of sport is fundamental for a healthier life and preventing disease. Hospital da Luz Guimarães thanks the Guimarães Tennis Club for the invitation and congratulates Francisca Jorge and Matilde Jorge. The practise of safe sport is also a goal for Hospital da Luz, thus establishing partnerships with dozens of sports clubs and associations , among them Guimarães Tennis Club.
