The Hospital da Luz network units in Lisbon, Oeiras and Odivelas will offer, on the 16 th April, in the Otorhinolaryngology Services, voice screenings destined to adults. Access is free, but all those interested are required to previously schedule. The initiative, in the context of the World Voice Day, views to sensitize the population for the importance of the voice and the precautions to take for its preservation. The screening will be done through medical observation and has for goal to detect laryngeal pathologies in good time, identify misuse habits and vocal abuse, besides divulging orientation on care regarding the voice. If there are alterations in the quality of your voice, with frequent or prolonged hoarseness, take this screening.
